Behind the scenes during @impureacts & my @ransom_mitchell “Moulage series now at #bashcontemporary / top: a cloud flat made the outside light more “real” – later we placed a lamp, a mirror on the wall & more stenciling on the floor. This is typical of our work flow. We leave sets standing for a few days & keep moving things around to suit our composition. bottom: the final image shows a woman holding a mask of herself so we had the actress hold a real mask & then shot her face in the same position. We then painted them together digitally. You can see the piece on our artist page @ransom_mitchell #keepinitrealish
